Our camp will be at Poolepynten, a wide, flat peninsula on the east side of Prins Karls Forland. Here we will have plenty of space for the antennas and should have good view during our 24/7 polar bear watch.

Poolepynten has huge beaches with large amounts of driftwood. On site, there is a walrus colony varying in volume, and possible visit of polar bears.

The hut on the picture above belongs to the Governor, and the small triangular building close to it was a boat storage. You may click the picture to read more about Poolepynten and for 360° panoramic view of the place.
